A vibrant Korean rice and sake house in Shibuya Stream, dishing up comforting Korean classics and flowing drinks.
Korean Dining Daidai — or Daidai to its regulars — is a lively Korean restaurant on the second floor of Shibuya Stream. Part of the Rin Crew restaurant group, it serves up the kind of hearty, flavour-packed Korean fare that pairs perfectly with a cold drink or a warming bowl of soju.
The menu is built around Korean comfort food: bubbling sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew), crispy pajeon (savoury pancakes), and tender samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly). The sundubu lunch set is particularly popular, offering a generous and satisfying midday meal. For dinner, the all-you-can-drink courses make this a favourite for group gatherings and after-work socialising.
The interior channels the convivial atmosphere of a Korean pojangmacha (street stall), with warm lighting and an energetic buzz. Lunch runs until mid-afternoon, and dinner service continues until 11pm with last food orders at 10pm. The restaurant is directly connected to Shibuya Station, making it a convenient stop before or after a night out in the area.

Really unhelpful, borderline rude staff. Menus are unclear- there’s an entire two page craft beer menu, but only two options are available (and not indicated); there’s a vegetarian “menu” that’s only one item, and staff weren’t very helpful when asked if there was anything else available.

My wife ordered Pad Thai for lunch here and it was way over salted. We asked them to take it back. The waiter took it to the chefs but ended up bringing back her dish explaining it was their recipe and couldn’t change it. They didn’t offer to replace it and allow her to order something else instead. Avoid this place.

Not authentic Thai food. Kinda a bit of fusion of South East Asia cousin but quite far away from origin.
Well deserved one star for the fact that you can have there empty seat for more than 10 people ;)

The food was alright for the price. My friend disliked the karage set, but the cold noodles were okay!
