Super Oreryu Shio-Ramen is the premium offshoot of the beloved Oreryu Shio-Ramen chain, which has been serving Shibuya's signature salt ramen since its founding in the district. The name translates to 'my own style salt ramen,' and the broth lives up to the claim — it is slowly simmered from generous quantities of chicken bones and spring onions, yielding a clear, golden soup that balances umami depth with a gentle sweetness. The menu centres on the classic Oreryu Shio-Ramen alongside the Jukusei (aged) variant, which intensifies the flavour through a longer maturation process. Toppings are straightforward — tender chashu pork, menma bamboo shoots and a seasoned egg — allowing the broth to take centre stage. The kitchen also offers rice sets and gyoza for those wanting a more substantial meal.
Located on Udagawacho's Centre Street, the shop is a short walk from Shibuya Station and stays open until 11 pm, making it a reliable option for a late-evening bowl. Seating is counter-focused and turnover is brisk, so even when a queue forms it tends to move quickly. Cashless payments including PayPay and credit cards are accepted.
